A Summer Canvas

I’m sharing the Summer canvas today that we made last weekend at the craft centre. This time we used Distress Stains to colour the canvas before stamping with ink, and then a fun technique with paint. Canvas’s are great  for adding a personal touch to your home decor, or for making as gifts.

Here is my finished piece. I was really pleased with the way it turned out.

Everyone made beautiful finished pieces. Here are just two that I managed to photograph. This first canvas  has been made by Ally Jones.

Ally was very creative in the way that she positioned her flowers:

And her ia another lovely example this time made by Hannah Waterhouse. This was her first time having a go at a project like this.

Brilliant work!

If you would like to make a canvas for yourself we are running the next class on Saturday 27th October in the afternoon. The theme will be autumn and we will be using glassine paper, fragments and other Tim Holtz goodies. The class costs £14 which includes a 20 cm square canvas and all materials needed to complete the project.
