Scrap Club Optional Challenge – Two More Layouts!

BothSue Sheltrum and Julie Staves have completed layouts for the scrap club optional challenge, showing how versatile last months sketch is.

Sue’s “11 months & growing“  layout is a far cry from our original vintage themed page. Sue has replaced the flowers with stars and brads and created a charming baby layout.

Here is the envelope and tags close up:

Julie’s “Just Because” records a trip to Kew Gardens with patterned papers and colours chosen to compliment the photo perfectly.

Here is a close up of the envelope. Spot the way that Julie has used just half of a Spellbinder fancy tag  on the envelope, and the bakers twine threaded through the button:

The title has been cut on the cricut using Duan Juan cartridge, and I like the added faux stitching:

Flower centres filled with candi, and the leaves are a combination of the Cheery Lyn fern die cut with kraft cardstock, and bell flowers using the Woodware punch and red card that echo’s the colour of the title:

Christmas Bauble Cards

These pretty cards have been made byDenise Hutchings using the new Woodware Big Doodle Bauble singles clear stamp. Denise has kept the card flat to minimise postage costs, and has stamped the seasons greetings sentiment that comes in the set, on the inside of her card.

Denise has used a variety of embossing powders and colours for her cards. It’s hard to see in the photo but Denise has also added some matching gems to the baubles for even more sparkle:

This is Denises’s favourite card. The Wow glittery green embossing powder looks fantastic!

Thanks for sharing your cards Denise. I’m very envious that I haven’t had time to ink up one of the new designs yet, but it is lovely seeing what our clever local crafters create.
